Fire Prevention Week 2015 starts on October 4 and continues through October 10, 2015. This year’s theme is “Hear the beep where you sleep: every bedroom needs a smoke alarm”.
The Toledo Fire & Rescue Department, in conjunction with the Toledo Firefighters Museum and the Willys Overland Place Group, will kick things off this year with the Fireman Freddy Parade on October 3, 2015 at 10 a.m. The lineup for the parade starts at 9 a.m. at the Toledo Firefighters Museum which is located at 918 West Sylvania Avenue.
This is free to the community and will include the “Fireman Freddy Parade”, tours of the museum, refreshments and fun events for children. Families are encourage to walk in the parade.
